Hybris Film is a video production company based in Malmö, Sweden. They requested a logo that could capture the multifaceted spirit of the company, something that could communicate a professionality to their clients working with educational videos, while at the same time communicating a bold, creative spirit when producing artistic short film.
After discussing and exploring different logo alternatives, we settled on the idea of a peacock as a defining quality for the company logo - capturing the birds colorful yet regal nature, while simultaneously playing the concept representing a self-aware, creative hubris.
At the company launch party, celebrating the release of several celebrated short films, the new logo was front and center.
